As a parent whose career has been in sport and recreation for the past 20 years (and specifically as a consultant responsible for developing a program called HIGH FIVE which specializes in designing sport and recreation programs to ensure a child’s healthy development) , I am sooooo impressed by everything you do! I would like to say that I am extremely proud to recommend Northern Lights Dance to anyone who may be considering the studio. I couldn’t imagine my daughter dancing anywhere else, we have thoroughly enjoyed our experience here at the studio. My daughter has been at Northern lights for 6 years now, she began with a level 1 jazz, and is now a member on several of the junior competitive teams.

Whether you are a dancer or a parent from the studio, you truly feel like a member of their “dance family”. Both Mikayla and I have made so many friends here over the years, and continue to meet new faces every year. The parents of the dancers from this studio are also amazing, we always have a blast chatting it up at competitions. Dance is a wonderful thing for a child or young adult to be a part of. Taking part in dance has taught Mikayla commitment, structure, discipline, and most importantly, self-confidence. I have watched her grow and develop into a beautiful dancer, and truly couldn’t be any more grateful for what the studio has given us. Thank you Northern Lights for all of your hard work and commitment to us.

For the past 5 years my daughters have danced at Northern Lights. I have watched my girls grow into confident beautiful dancers under the tutelage of Christine and Shirley. Northern Lights is our home away from home where we have developed wonderful friendships with the dancers and parents. Each student has different strengths and their teachers take the time not only to recognize this but embrace it. Their passion and love of dance is evident in the choreography for each and every dance and the amazing recital at the end of the year. Our competitive team is comprised of truly talented dancers who mentor and support their younger team mates. We can’t imagine dancing anywhere else!

We have been part of the Northern Lights Dance Studio family for six years. Northern Lights Dance Studio is a place where I have watched both of my daughters grow in confidence and ability, a place where we have developed close and lasting friendships. Christine and Shirley are professional, caring and supportive – I feel so fortunate to have them both as role models for my girls. They have inspired a love for dance in my daughters that will last a lifetime.

Northern Lights Dance Studio is the best in the region. The teachers are absolutely wonderful with the children (and the parents!). Their patience and dedication to their craft is evident at the spring recital. What a fabulous show!! I have seen such a change in my daughter since enrolling her at Northern Lights two years ago. She is more confident and poised and is so proud to be a Northern Lights dancer. Thank you so much for the memories!!!

My daughter Dannica has been dancing at Northern Lights Dance studio since they first opened in 2001. She was 3. She is now 14. She toddled in the studio with dreams of being a ballerina and Northern Lights made it happen. Throughout the years, Northern Lights has encouraged her love of dance, given her great dance technique, made her a team player, and increased her confidence twofold. Northern Lights for us, is a home away from home.

I have been fortunate to watch the growth of many young ladies at Northern Lights. They have matured to be confident, articulate young women who have integrity; Shirley and Christine are partly responsible for the fantastic people these young people have become. It always amazes me the way the seniors at Northern Lights (teenagers) mentor the little ones, the beginners, on their dancing journey. I would highly recommend Northern Lights Dance Studio, it not only creates wonderful dancers: it creates wonderful people.

My daughter Jacqueline has been dancing with Northern Lights for the past four years. She has participated in both recreational and competitive dance classes, including tap, jazz, ballet, musical theatre and hip hop. Jacqueline loves dancing at the studio, and has made many friends in her various classes. She enjoys learning the new dance routines every year and her teachers have always been positive and encouraging while expecting the dancers to work hard and develop their skills. I am very happy that Jacqueline participates in dance at Northern Lights.
